For most of us, our inability to stomach the reflection in the mirror stunts our growth. Who wants to admit that they're selfish...that they're inconsiderate...that they're rude...that they're unfaithful...that they're liars? It's hard! But if you're not real and honest with yourself, should others expect for you to be real and honest with them? One is really lacking self love when they choose vanity over introspection.
For me, I never considered looking in a mirror. I wasn't ashamed to be a drug dealer. I thought have multiple women was a flex. I didn't think that I was supposed to have regard for human life. I was failing as a person...as a father...as a Man! Because of my warped way of thinking I found myself laying on a bunk, in Indiana State Prison, on my 3rd stint, with a 40 year sentence. Mired in the destruction that I'd caused, I asked myself a real question: How did you phuck your life up?!The necessary questions, and the answers I found in the Mirror!
